Everyone needs a Karli

I caught up with the great Chris from RAD Centre a few weeks ago - there is nothing like talking business with another business owner.

After chatting about AI and all the things that keep us busy, Chris said to me - 'I need a Karli' someone who is my right hand. And upon reflection, I think every business owner needs someone like Karli.

Karli is the kind of person who shows up, gives everything, and never does things by halves

There is something extremely special about growing a business and having that person by your side who is all in. Regardless of the highs, the lows or the mammoth task that sits in front of you.

Karli & I know that we are opposites, yet this is what sets up apart and makes us an unstoppable team. When I am thinking of A, Karli is thinking of B (and probably C,D,E)

Karli understands leadership, this weekend she will be playing and coaching in a netball grand final, within her first year of taking on a coaching role at Dunnstown Football and Netball Club.

When I told Chels (Mum) on the weekend, the news of Karls making the final dance, I said,

“I honestly don’t know how she does it all”

Karli is a mum to three beautiful children, a constant rock and support for her husband Will, and somehow still manages to keep me in check and make sure that whatever I need for the day to day operations of Munro & Associates Conveyancing is there and sorted. On top of this and all of the other things that life throws at us, Karli has taken on the additional responsibility of coaching — giving up countless nights to training, functions, games and everything that comes with leading a netball team. I genuinely don’t know how she does it all. But somehow, she does and does it with determination like no other.

So yes, we all do need a Karli - but you will need to find your own, which I am fairly certain is exactly what I said to Chris jokingly in response. I do though count my lucky stars and am truly inspired by Karli.
